Maternity Lake Session/ Hudson Valley Photographer
It's the end of summer and fall is here! If you are an expecting mama and looking to capture this moment a photographer should definitely suggest a maternity lake session in the Hudson Valley (golden hour, of course!). It's perfect, it's still warm, you're pregnant, you're a million degrees, so why not celebrate yourself and cool off at the same time?! Plus, it's an easy way to get siblings excited.
All jokes aside these maternity lake sessions have become some of my favorites as a photographer in the Hudson Valley. There are so many good water spots, and not just lakes, the Hudson River, especially at Staatsburg State Historic Site, https://parks.ny.gov/historic-sites/25/details.aspx has great river access. A lake, river or stream is the perfect backdrop for any maternity session, and as a photographer I try to suggest a couple of spots in the Hudson Valley that might work for you. No special props or outfits needed, sometimes just a blanket or t shirt will suffice, but you can also get pretty dramatic with the styling if you'd like and I have an amazing stylist to help you do that. Oh, and don't forget this works great for families as well!
