You've booked your shoot at my Rhinebeck studio or maybe a great outdoor spot nearby, but what to do in town after your photo session? Don't worry Rhinebeck, NY was voted one of the Hudson Valley's best towns, so there is plenty for you to discover for kids and grown ups alike right in town.
Hungry? There are a ton of eateries, but two are my absolute favorites. Aba's Falafel has amazing Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine. This Hudson Valley staple is great for kids and grown ups because it's delicious, healthy and an added bonus, fast. Winning Hudson Valley's best for multiple years, Aba's Falafel is a must try. Ok, so maybe you have a less adventurous eater, a burger and fries kind of kid perhaps? Another great choice is Buns on Garden Street in Rhinebeck. With fry buckets, great milkshakes and even a vegetarian option, Buns hits the spot with deliciousness and speed! Check them out here at https://bunsburgersny.com/.

Should we do a little shopping? There's, again, plenty of options, but Land of Oz is a pretty epic toy store, so epic that you may want to avoid it if you ever want to get home, haha. There's stuff for all ages and all interests, from puzzles, to trucks, to dolls, even dress up, crafts and science projects. Plus their painted rainbow floor is super fun to see. Need a pick me up? Coffee is always king and there is a great coffee place that is worth a trip. All That Java is by far the best coffee in town in my opinion. They even put coffee ice cubes in their iced drinks, that was an eye opener for me! They also have some great art on the walls from a local painter that you can check out. Need a walk? Maybe those kiddos need to get some wiggles out? There is an easy outdoor spot right in Rhinebeck. It's also a place I love to shoot! Ferncliff Forest is a great option for the littlest ones because it is a very short walk to a pond with picnic tables and a pavilion. Need more of an adventure? There's also a small trek around the pond and for our bigger kids a walk up to the fire tower.

When you book your photography session with me in Rhinebeck, New York have no fear there are a ton of things to do with your kids before or after your shoot. Rhinebeck is full of boutiques and fancy restaurants, but there are a lot of kid friendly options from short, rewarding walks, to fast and kid friendly food and even an epic toy store.
